The Olympics at Weymouth

At the end of July 2012, Weymouth will help rewrite current history as it helps play host to the London 2012 Olympics.  By hosting the sailing events, Weymouth and Portland will be the second largest venue outside of the Capital.  With 380 competitors competing in 10 medal races, the local sailors will be hoping that home advantage will help Team GB emulate their four gold medals from Beijing four years ago.

We currently have plenty of availability during the Olympics - please call us for a quote or you can use the booking button on this site.  If you are having trouble booking then please do not hesitate to call or email.

So why don't you come and sample some Olympic atmosphere whilst at the same time getting some sun, sea and sand?  As with most of the sports, all of the tickets for the ticketed area were sold like hot cakes but there are a host of free viewing areas including a large screen live site right bang on Weymouth's golden sands.

As well as the Olympic events, there is plenty of other things going on in Weymouth at this time too. There is the Bayside festival with its host of concerts and other live entertainment, there is Britain's largest cultural Olympiad in the form of the Maritime Mix, and the ICCI 360 Arena will be showing all manner of shows, films and dance.  See the following links for details on the events as well as other helpful places:

Weymouth has already been host to the recent fantastic torch celebrations, and we are looking forward to some great events.
