The bar is situated in the guest lounge on the first floor.  Its unique position affords it amazing views across the beach and the bay towards the dramatic chalk cliffs of the Jurassic Coast.  It has two balconies with seating and is the ideal spot to for a coffee and a touch of people watching in the morning or an ice cold beer, a gin and tonic and relaxing while the sun goes down in the evening.  The bar also boasts a couple of leather sofas, several easy chairs and comfortable seating for at least 11 people inside. 

The bar itself is well stocked with a fine array of both locally produced drinks as well as the usual suspects.  Bottles of local Lyme Bay Cider and flagons of the award winning Jack Ratt scrumpy sit alongside Weymouth brewed beers from the Dorset Brewing Company (see ) and the real ales of the Piddle brewery, whose ales never fail to raise a smile, even before you drink them (see )!!  Hedgerow fruit wines and liqueurs are also available, again produced by the Lyme Bay Winery on the Dorset Devon border ( see  Many of the locally produced drinks have been awarded medals by a number of the most prestigious benchmarking award ceremonies not only in the south west but also nationally. 
Major brands including Becks, Peroni, Carlsberg, Guinness and John Smiths are also available alongside other major brands.  Wines and spirits are also available.
