Welcome to ‘The Esplanade’. The Esplanade is a Grade II listed building situated alongside the sea. We are moments from anywhere. The Hotel is yards from the award winning Weymouth beach and a short stroll from Weymouth town centre. Weymouth’s historic old harbour and its accompanying dinner delights are but a short walk away; and if you want sample The World Heritage Jurassic Coast, it is on your doorstep.
Whether you are staying with us for a single night or plan to be with us for a week or two, it is our aim to make you as comfortable as possible, as happy as possible and ensure that we exceed your expectations.
The Esplanade is a family run business. Both Rob and Terri Cole were born in Weymouth and over five generations before them have resided in the town. After nearly twenty years in Devon and London, Rob, Terri and Lily returned to Weymouth in October 2007. Baby Alfie was born in September 2008 and is quietly getting used to his life beside the seaside.
With such a saturated family history in Weymouth, it is our hope to be a fountain of knowledge to all of our guests and all of their queries. If we don’t know the answers, then our parents might. If they don’t know, then the grandparents might..........but be careful; they’re at that mischievous age where they might make something up to satisfy their grandchild!!
